Looking for an Interim Executive Director

Agape House-Eastman Crisis Centre is a charitable, non-profit organization funded through the Provincial Government’s Department of Families, as well as through grants, fundraising and community donations. As one of ten women’s shelters in Manitoba, Agape House serves a large area that extends north to Beausejour, south to the U.S. Border west to Winnipeg and east to the Ontario border. 

We are currently hiring a flexible, self-starter to fill the role of Interim Executive Director to lead the staff at Agape House and successfully fulfill our Mission.  This is a full-time, temporary position with the opportunity to become permanent.  Click here for more information.

The Executive Director of the Eastman Crisis Centre is responsible for the competent and efficient overall management of the Shelter, in accordance with the policies established by the Board of Directors.  The Executive Director is also responsible for providing initiative and leadership within the organization and overseeing the administration, labour relations, programs and strategic plan of the Shelter as well as fundraising, grant proposals, marketing and community outreach.  The Executive Director will have a strong background in both business and administration and have a good understanding of clinical and social services. This position reports directly to the Board of Directors.
