Agape House – A Safe Place to Grow

The Month of November is designated as Family Violence Prevention Month.

Family Violence Prevention Month  is  a month set aside to bring awareness, and education to the growing issue of domestic violence.

Agape House is utilizing this month to launch their capital campaign “A safe Place to Grow”.

Agape House has been distributing donation boxes shaped as houses in order to raise awareness of the safe house in which women and children access when fleeing domestic and or family violence situations.

The donations collected throughout the month of November will be embarked for a new shelter that will be suited for the many people who access services at Agape House.

It is estimated that the shelter will need to raise 2 million dollars in order to build a state of the art facility, which addresses many community needs.

If you are interested in supporting  this project or would like more information please contact the shelter directly at 204-326-6062.  We also welcome you to fill out our contact form located on this website.
