Programs & Services
A safe place to grow.
Regardless of where you are in your journey, we can provide you with the resources, support, and safety you and your children need. We promise that every conversation and interaction is confidential, and we treat each of our clients with dignity and respect.
We serve all individuals experiencing violence regardless of gender and sexual orientation.
How we can help.
24-Hour Crisis Support

When clients have left our shelter, we offer ongoing counselling, groups, advocacy and assistance with medical, legal, and social services, and basic daily provisions of food, clothing, and personal hygiene items at no cost.
Outreach Program & Community Support
We present public education workshops throughout our region, promoting awareness of domestic violence issues and our services. And anyone outside of our shelter can access counselling and support. All these services are provided free of charge.
Healing From Sexual Assault Support
All services in this program are open to survivors of sexual violence living in Southeastern Manitoba who are seeking advice, resources, counselling, support, and much more to help guide through often difficult and vulnerable times.Ā
Childrenās Programming
Play-based counselling, groups, counselling, safety planning and 24/7 support for kids both in and outside of our shelter.
Counselling & Care
Those who may not have a need to stay in shelter can still access free counselling services and supports for a variety of issues.
Interim Housing
Our two interim housing units help individuals make the transition toward independent living, while still accessing support services.
Shelter Support Services
We operate a shelter that provides 24/7 support, intake support, counselling, care, and a safe place for individuals and their children in times of crisis. All services are provided at no cost.
Community Involvement
At Agape House, the support of our community is vital to our success as a non-profit organization. Thatās why we strive to be visible throughout the Southeast.
Weāre always willing to have a conversation with your group, school, or organization. Gender-based violence touches far more people than youād think. Letās lose the stigma. Letās open the conversation.
