What is a Safety Plan?

A safety plan is a personalized strategy to help people stay safe when they’re experiencing abuse.

It includes practical steps like making a plan to leave quickly, finding safe places to go, and getting help from support services.

The goal is to give survivors the tools and knowledge they need to protect themselves and their loved ones.
